Support that begins with trust, communication, and real family life.

Steady Growth Collective provides relationship-based learning support, caregiver coaching, and supervised services led by a Registered Behaviour Analyst for children with complex developmental needs.

Children are not a collection of missing skills. They are whole people with histories, preferences, sensitivities, strengths, relationships, and ways of seeking comfort and joy.

The work is to understand what is already meaningful, then carefully expand what a child can access: communication, play, participation, independence, connection, and dignity.

The approach

Structure without losing the child.

Trust first

Sessions begin with relationship, regulation, and motivation. Learning is built from safe, meaningful interaction rather than pressure or performance.

Skills as access

Skills are not just checkboxes. Communication, play, reading, routines, and self-help skills can become pathways to freedom, joy, competence, and connection.

Family-centered change

Support happens inside real family life. Coaching focuses on practical strategies that caregivers can use in everyday routines, not only during therapy sessions.

Services

Flexible support for children and families.

Caregiver Coaching

Parent and caregiver coaching focused on communication, engagement, play, routines, transitions, and practical behaviour support.

Direct 1-1 Learning Sessions with Your Child

Naturalistic, relationship-based sessions that may include communication, play, imitation, listener responding, language development, literacy, academic support, self-regulation, and daily living goals. Supports may include visual tools, movement-based strategies, and co-regulation within everyday routines.

Supervised Therapist-Led Services

Services may include programming, supervision, and support for trained therapists working with children in home or community settings.

Assessment & Program Development

Individualized programming informed by observation, caregiver priorities, developmental assessment, language and communication assessment, play and social engagement assessment, functional assessment, curriculum-based probes, and ongoing clinical judgment.

About Bariah

Registered Behaviour Analyst in Ontario

My name is Bariah Khan. I live and work in Brampton, on the traditional territories of the Mississaugas of the Credit, Haudenosaunee, and Wendat Nations.

I am a Registered Behaviour Analyst in Ontario with experience supporting children with autism and complex developmental needs through home-based services, caregiver coaching, Project ImPACT, supervision, and individualized programming.

My work focuses on early communication, caregiver support, and behaviour change across everyday routines to improve quality of life for children and the families who support them.

My perspective has also been deeply shaped by my own experience as a parent, including many years of homeschooling and supporting my son with autism and intellectual disability. This part of my life continues to ground my respect for families, my understanding of everyday caregiving realities, and my commitment to practical, family-centred support.
